The 2009 Call for Comment has been posted and awaits your vote. It is easier than ever to let us know what you think! To access the on-line survey with a summary of each proposal, click here or point your browser to https://www.novisystems.com/NoviSurvey/n/c4c09.aspx.
Each survey question is linked to the full proposal if you want to see the details. If you wish to see the current Standards, Policies, Rules, and By-Laws with proposed changes click here. Please, take the necessary time from your busy schedule to fill out the survey before February 4, 2010, so your vote will count.
Each survey item is linked to a complete document in three columns showing
- The standard, rule or policy as published in the 2009 Handbook
- The proposed changes.
- A summary of the change and rationale for it
You may vote "agree" or "disagree" on each proposal or you may vote only on the proposal(s) of particular interest to you. Each item is followed by a space where you may type in additional comments.
There are 31 proposed changes in the Rules of Practice and Procedure, appendices to the rules, and by-laws of the Commission. These are numbered 09-01 through 09-31. Proposed changes to the standards, policies, and glossary are numbered 09-101 through 09-174. Some non-substantive changes are needed for clarity in the final revised documents. Even though these do not have proposal numbers, the Survey includes space for you to comment on any of them.
